For the best care of your silk garments, we recommend professional dry cleaning only. Avoid hand washing or machine washing under any circumstances, and do not use soaps or detergents. As with all natural fibers, silk is susceptible to fading and discoloration. To maintain the sheen and longevity of your silk sarees, store them wrapped in a muslin cloth and refold them periodically to prevent creasing and fading. Keep them in a cool, dry place to avoid discoloration. Steam ironing is ideal for silk. Please note that natural fading may occur over time, depending on usage and garment care. If you must wash the garment, use a mild detergent in cold water. Avoid twisting or wringing the fabric. Washing the saree is done at your own risk, and we do not provide any guarantee regarding the color, fabric, or zari.
Garments made from chiffon, georgette, or crepe should not be machine washed. Dry cleaning is the preferred method, but if necessary, you may gently hand wash the garment. Avoid twisting or wringing the fabric, and do not hang these garments for prolonged periods as they may lose their shape. Refold them periodically to prevent stress on the creases. Iron on a low temperature setting, moving the iron quickly and avoiding prolonged contact with any one area.
